About Highland Lakes Live
Local stories, useful information, and a stronger connection to the Highland Lakes.
Our mission
Highland Lakes Live is an independent regional information website covering the Highland Lakes and surrounding Texas Hill Country communities. We bring together original local features, community guides, weather coverage, and useful resources in one easy-to-navigate place.
Our coverage includes Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Kingsland, Burnet, Llano, Granite Shoals, Cottonwood Shores, and neighboring communities.
Powered by Texas News Studio
Highland Lakes Live is part of the Texas News Studio family of regional news and weather websites. Our goal is to help residents and visitors discover the people, places, history, and opportunities that make this region distinctive.
We distinguish original articles from outside resources and aim to keep evergreen guides useful over time.
