Marble Falls and Burnet school drives supported food assistance programs ahead of the holidays.
Students and staff across Marble Falls and Burnet recently completed major canned-food collections. Marble Falls ISD reported more than 10,000 donated items for local organizations including The Helping Center, St. Frederick’s Baptist Church and The Cupboard in Cottonwood Shores. Burnet High School collected more than 1,350 pounds of goods benefiting LACare. The drives illustrate how schools can help meet practical needs as the holiday season approaches.
